Education system of Western Development Region, Nepal

The western region has major attractive and famous places like Lumbini (Buddha’s birth place), Annapurna Conservation Area, Pokhara valley, Gorkha, Mt.Machapuchchhre, Muktinath, Bandipur etc. Being rich in natural resources we do have basic infrastructure due to geographical situation as well as by political instabilities.
Advance countries like U.K, USA, Australia have highly developed especially in the field of education. At the same time Nepal is lagging behind varied sector including education due to political instabilities last to decades. As a result young generation in Nepal has been desperately looking for better option in foreign country. Many people migrated to capital city for better future of there children. These act of people leads to less development in educational sector of western development region mostly in Manang, Myagdi, Arghakhanchi districts.
Western Nepal education system is very slowly developing. There is very less schools and colleges with less materials and equipments in Manang, Mustang, Myagdi, Arghakhanchi and other districts also. They don't have basic infrastructure, buildings, play ground, science and computer labs. Also there is not sufficient number of teachers at schools and colleges.
In contest of Manang and Mustang teachers are very few so, one teacher has to take many classes. Teachers are not well trained about new technology and methods of teaching. There is less number of students in schools due to lack of ability and knowledge. Most of the people are unable to fulfill their basic needs of their children so they are not well conscious about education. People of western development region are abroad so their sons and daughters are raised by a single parents specially mother. Since these children are not taken cared by both parents their development is unbalance. They are deprived of parental care and affection.
Student status is very poor and opportunities are very less. Students are unable to get well education due to economic problems, parental environment etc. Some children are not interested to go to schools because they are afraid of corporeal punishment at schools. They are many problems in the field of education in Manang, Myagdi and other districts of Western Development Region. Some parts of western region like Kaski and other cities areas are highly developed in comparison to Manang, Mustang, and other many districts.
There are many private schools with better facilities. Teachers of government schools are well paid get some facilities from government. However SLC results of government schools is lower than 25%. In other hand private schools and collages fees is very high beyond the ability of all people.
Private schools of cities area have well facilities equipments, labs, etc. Students of private schools and college are highly depends on their parents and teachers. They get solution easily in their every situation from teachers and from internet. So, their creativity power is decreasing and brain drain rate is high which has directly affected education development of Nepal. Students of cities area wants to work in RNAC jobs and run private business. Many of them have been working abroad. So, technocrats and bearcats manpower of Nepal are especially from government schools.
In present time social workers are involved in education development project. But I think there are only few numbers of social workers and donor in our country Nepal. We have culture to inheriting parental property from generation to generation. This is reason for uncover able difference between poor and rich people. People want to save property to grants their children’s rather than donating and participating in educational development of country.
